Kayla Weinman grew up in Burbank, Ohio. Weinman then studied at the University of Akron where she got her Bachelor’s degree in ceramics. Kayla then moved to Richmond, Virginia where she completed a year long Post Baccalaureate. After graduating Weinman moved to Orrville, Ohio where she started a position as a Teachers Aide at Apple Creek Elementary School, and a position as a Assistant Lecturer at The University of Akron where she teaches several courses in ceramics. Kayla also is an instructor in ceramics for Wayne Center for the Arts. Weinman enjoys working these positions because it gives her the unique perspective of working with a large variety of age groups at the same time.
